Project for Heat and Electricity Generation from Biomass

EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) turnkey project for heat and electricity generation from biomass for the TE-TOL unit in Ljubljana: includes engineering, project management, revision, supervision, and design of the entire project; preparation of technical, safety, and legal documentation; site preparation; demolition and removal of existing boiler, electrical, and turbine equipment from blocks 1 and 2, as well as steam, pipe, and cable lines, reduction stations, and auxiliary equipment; supply and installation of new biomass boiler equipment (thermal output 90 MWt ± 2 MWt) with feed pumps, bag filter, and ash removal system; supply and installation of turbine equipment (back-pressure steam turbine) with generator, district heating exchangers (DH1, DH2), condensation and circulation pumps, and associated turbine plant systems, including block transformer, auxiliary transformers, and a new 110 kV connection; reconstruction of the existing main power plant engine room; supply and installation of pipe connections (high-pressure, medium-pressure, start-up/bypass reduction stations) and a cooling system with a new cooling water pump from the Ljubljanica river; supply and installation of a new regenerative condensate heater and safety and control technology; supply and installation of exhaust pipelines, valves, silencers for steam blowing, cleaning and flushing of pipelines and equipment; initial filling of hydraulic and lubrication systems and chemical reagents; preparation of existing foundations and the turbine table for the new back-pressure steam turbine; demolition and construction works for foundations and installation of new equipment; construction of a biomass reception and storage facility, including an automatic sampling system for wood chips and an upgrade of the existing fuel transport system; connection to existing infrastructure; system regulation and management, integration into the existing TE-TOL control, protection, monitoring, and measurement system; supply of all materials and components to the construction site; construction, assembly, and coordination of all civil, mechanical, electrical, and I&C works; monitoring and monthly reporting of construction progress, including a 3D model; supervision, testing, cold and hot commissioning, and functional and warranty tests; handover for trial operation and final commissioning of the power plant; training of client personnel and support during the trial operation period; preparation and submission of all required documentation and support for technical inspections, trial operation permits, operating permits, grid connection permits, and other necessary permits; preparation and submission of documentation and support for technical or financial reviews by authorities in connection with co-financing.
