Project Management for General Renovation and Extension of Dom-Pedro-Platz 2 Primary School

Project management services for the general renovation and extension of the Dom-Pedro-Platz 2 Primary School into a full-day 4-stream primary school in Munich Neuhausen-Nymphenburg: Services based on §2 AHO (project phases 1-5, action areas A-E) and supporting services for the building services and electrical engineering departments. The listed primary school, a solid construction building (built 1899/1900) with ensemble protection, is to be converted from a 5 ½-stream to a 4-stream full-day school according to the Munich learning house concept. This includes an extension building as new construction for the kitchen and cafeteria. Existing defects include fire protection deficiencies in suspended ceilings, maceration on the roof skin, pollutant contamination, localized moisture problems on exterior walls, overheating of the single sports hall on the top floor, and defects in the supporting structure of the gymnastics room on the 1st floor. Required are the retrofitting of a new ventilation system in all classrooms and the creation of space for electrical engineering areas. Implementation will occur in one construction phase, with the school being relocated for the construction period. Climate neutrality by 2035, use of renewable raw materials, embodied energy, circular construction, re-use and recycling materials, and timber or timber-hybrid construction with building greening for new buildings are to be considered. Estimated 400 students and 331 meal participants in two shifts.
