Project Management for Microelectronics Funding Measures

Project management for microelectronics funding measures: Support for the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) in the preparation and implementation of funding from January 1, 2027. This includes the technical and administrative planning, execution, and control of funding measures according to the criteria of the IPCEI "Important Project of Common European Interest" Microelectronics and Communication Technologies (IPCEI ME/KT), the European Chips Act (ECA), and the IPCEI Advanced Semiconductor Technologies (IPCEI AST). The project management agency will fully take over the administration of all ongoing funding projects from the previous project management agency starting January 1, 2027, and will support the harmonized or coordinated European implementation of funding activities. Up to 160 funding projects are expected to be managed across all funding measures by 2031, comprising up to 90 ongoing and up to 70 additional potential projects.
