Plaster, ETICS, and ancillary works for the old and new buildings of the FSU Jena Communication Center

Plaster, external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS), and associated connection, profile, and ancillary works for the old and new buildings of the Forum Jena / Communication Center of Friedrich Schiller University Jena: site setup, workshop and detailed planning, necessary tests and verifications, and complete documentation of the executed works. In the old building, exterior plastering works include the removal of existing plaster systems, substrate remediation, plaster carrier constructions on half-timbered walls, and the application of leveling and base coats. Subsequently, a mineral external thermal insulation composite system with mineral wool insulation, including plinth insulation, reinforcement and top coat systems, facade coatings, reveal insulation, connections, and sealants, is to be installed. Interior plastering works in the old building involve the treatment of half-timbered, rubble stone, brick, and aerated concrete surfaces, including substrate preparation, plaster carriers, leveling plasters, lime plaster systems, skimming works, and fire protection upgrades in the area of wooden beam ceilings. In the new building, interior plastering works are to be carried out on concrete and sand-lime brick walls, including substrate preparation, bonding bridges, closing of installation slots and precast element joints, lime plaster systems, reveal formations, and necessary connection details. Furthermore, all corner protection, finishing, and connection profiles, plaster stop beads, plinth and drip edge profiles, sealing tapes, dimpled sheets, and all necessary ancillary works for the creation of a technically and aesthetically high-quality and permanently functional plaster and facade system are included.
