Framework agreement for research and further development of the quality and execution of vocational and craft tests: Approximately 30,000 individuals annually take vocational and craft tests in Norway. The test is crucial for trust in the apprenticeship certificate as proof of acquired competence. The aim is to ensure flexibility, professional breadth, and capacity to monitor the test's development over time. The agreement also covers the competence test, which is a final assessment for training candidates. The work shall contribute to knowledge acquisition, further development of the test, increased quality, and a more uniform assessment practice to maintain trust in apprenticeship and craft certificates. The work will be carried out in close cooperation with the contracting authority and relevant actors in vocational training, involving counties, social partners, professional advisors, test committees, and other relevant environments as needed. Further clarifications will be provided with each call-off. A continuous need for development work, testing, evaluation, and professional support is expected throughout the contract period.
