Framework Agreement for Remotely Readable Water Meters and Communication System
Supply of remotely readable water meters and the accompanying communication system: Conclusion of a framework agreement with one tenderer for a duration of 4 years, with an option for annual extension up to a maximum contract period of 8 years. The current stock of active water meters in Bergen Kommune totals approx. 5,600 units, of which approx. 1,368 units are in private residences. Between 2006 and 2026, an average of approx. 200 new water meters were installed per annum. The replacement and new installation of approx. 2,500 water meters are expected over the next 6-8 years. Detailed requirements are specified in the tender documents.
