Framework Agreement for Logistics Services for Messe Essen

Freight forwarding and trade fair logistics services for events at Messe Essen: Organization and coordination of trade fair logistics including administrative services and control center function, check-in and inflow management including the management of an external check-in area as required, provision and operation of an IT system for check-in, yard, and time-slot management, machine-operated transport services such as forklift, crane, and aerial work platform services, storage and handling of full, empty, and general cargo including interim storage and internal transports, provision and rental of logistical equipment such as forklifts, aerial work platforms, cranes, and containers, customs clearance services, execution of necessary instructions as well as creation and maintenance of work and service instructions, support for digital processes, particularly for online ordering of logistics services, time slot bookings, and check-in processes. Services are to be provided as needed for trade fair and congress operations, which are expected to include approximately 19 trade fairs and 10 congress events annually. These figures are for orientation only; the type, number, scope, and timing of events may change. There is no entitlement to call off specific service volumes. The service description also provides for the continuous development and digitalization of logistics processes during the contract term.
