Reconstruction of Buildings No. 323 and 584, Žatec – Cultural and Creative Center and Apartment Building
Construction work for the reconstruction of buildings No. 323 and 584 in Žatec: Comprehensive structural modifications with a change of use for the former Army Garrison House (PDA). The complex consists of three U-shaped objects (A, B, C), with a cinema extension in the courtyard to be demolished. Buildings A and C will become the Cultural and Creative Center Žatec, and Building B will become an apartment building. The work includes the preservation of historically valuable structures such as roof trusses, external masonry, arcades, load-bearing walls, and partitions, as well as historical details like window and door fillings, the access system to residential units via arcades, forged arcade railings, and the four-winged entrance grille from Masarykova Street. The project is located in an urban heritage zone and involves the rehabilitation of the buildings' appearance.
