Reconstruction and Expansion of Electrical and Automation Systems for South Heating Plant

Construction and installation works for the reconstruction and expansion of electrical and automation systems at the South Heating Plant in Plovdiv: delivery, installation, integration, and commissioning of equipment. The electrical equipment includes an underground 20kV cable line from MKRU to a 20kV switchgear in an electrical building. The 20kV switchgear consists of 3 KRU units ("Cable input", "Metering", "Transformer protection") and includes space for 1 additional spare KRU. Also included are a 1000kVA, 20/0.4kV power transformer mounted in a separate transformer cell with natural ventilation, a spare transformer cell with natural ventilation, a 380/220V low voltage panel in the control room at K+4.30 of the electrical building, a power electrical installation for the supply of technological consumers, and lighting, lightning protection, and grounding systems for the buildings. New components must be integrated into the existing automation system (Simatic PCS 7, Siemens). The heating plant is Category 3 for power supply, Category F5B for fire safety, and Category 3 for lightning protection. The object is Category 6 according to Art. 147, Para. 1, Item 2 of the ZUT.
