Shell Construction for Daycare Center with Reinforced Concrete Interior Walls and Timber Exterior Walls

Shell construction works for the replacement new build of a daycare center in Oberschleißheim: Construction of the shell for a multi-story main building (ground floor, 1st floor, attic; approx. 1,066 m² gross floor area, approx. 3,970 m³ gross volume) and a single-story annex building (approx. 35 m² gross floor area, approx. 98 m³ gross volume) in timber-hybrid construction. Services include all shell and carpentry works, site setup, and the installation of timber windows and doors to create a sealed building envelope. Key quantities are approx. 168 m³ in-situ reinforced concrete slabs, approx. 36,500 kg reinforcing steel, approx. 609 m² heavy timber exterior wall elements, approx. 21 m³ glulam rafters for the hip roof, and approx. 467 m² rafter insulation. The facility is designed for four kindergarten groups with up to 25 children per group (total up to 100 children) and will be partially used as an inclusive facility; access is barrier-free via a platform lift.
