Shell Construction Works for New Building HIPSII.2
Shell construction works for the new building of a research and laboratory facility (HIPSII.2) on the campus of Saarland University in Saarbrücken: The four-story building with a staggered floor and a total height of approx. 22 m has external dimensions of approx. 66.00 x 33.00 m. The scope includes site setup, earthworks, foundation works, reinforced concrete works, masonry works, waterproofing and insulation works, including necessary drainage and built-in components for the shell construction, creation of a watertight building structure (white tank), precast and composite components, as well as all associated protection, security, and ancillary services, installation of ring and foundation earthing including concrete inserts, installation of main drainage pipes in and under the base plate, and building entries for technical building equipment (TBE) trades. Specific services include planning, workshop, assembly, and documentation services, site setup (site logistics, media supply, container facilities, traffic and security measures), earthworks, excavation, backfilling, and compaction works (pipe trenches, dewatering measures), foundation works on existing pile foundations (base plate construction), waterproofing works as a white tank with supplementary fresh concrete composite system and perimeter insulation, drainage systems under and within the building (main drainage pipes, house entries), empty conduit, earthing, and potential equalization systems (built-in components), formwork for foundations, base plates, walls, columns, ceilings, roofs, stairs, and other reinforced concrete components, reinforcement works (built-in components, dowel strips, reinforcement connections, shear dowels), concrete and reinforced concrete works for foundations, base plates, walls, columns, ceilings, roofs, beams, stairs, and parapets, manufacturing and assembly of composite components and precast concrete parts, masonry works (connections, recesses, lintels), creation of openings, recesses, core drillings, and concrete cutting works, construction-period protection, security, drainage, emergency waterproofing, and winter construction measures, early painting works, and hourly wage and verification works. The construction is supplemented by terraced parking areas with 3 disabled parking spaces (level 1), 24 parking spaces (level 2), and 12 parking spaces (level 3). The contract is financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
