Shell Construction Works for Timber-Hybrid Kindergarten

Shell construction works for the new construction of a kindergarten in timber-hybrid design: excavation of building pit approx. 616.30 m³, PP-MD sewer pipes and main lines approx. 290.00 m, excavation and backfilling of pipe trenches approx. 152.00 m, strip and single foundations made of reinforced concrete C25/30 approx. 103.20 m³, floor slab made of reinforced concrete C20/25 (d = 10 cm) approx. 34.60 m³, formwork for foundations and floor slab approx. 386.65 m², in-situ concrete for walls, columns, ceilings, and ridge cap C25/30 approx. 283.00 m³, formwork for walls, columns, ceilings, and ridge cap approx. 1,509.00 m², reinforcing steel (mesh and bar steel) approx. 38,300 kg, non-load-bearing masonry infills (d = 25 cm) approx. 158.00 m². The works include the creation of reinforced concrete foundations, floor slab, ceilings, interior walls, and columns. Intensive coordination with the timber construction/carpentry company is required due to the interfaces with load-bearing, prefabricated timber exterior wall elements and the timber roof structure. The project is a replacement new build for the Maria Patrona Bavariae kindergarten in Oberschleißheim, comprising a multi-story main building (ground floor, 1st floor, attic; gross floor area approx. 1,066 m², gross volume approx. 3,970 m³) and a single-story ancillary building in timber construction with a reinforced concrete foundation (gross floor area approx. 35 m², gross volume approx. 98 m³). The facility is designed for four kindergarten groups with up to 25 children each (total up to 100 children) and is partly used as an inclusive facility; access is barrier-free via a platform lift.
