Vibration Tiles for New Fire Station Rietberg
Installation of heavy-duty ceramic vibration tile coverings in the vehicle hall and selected ancillary rooms: subsurface preparations, waterproofing, insulation measures, mortar bed constructions, as well as laying and grouting of ceramic porcelain stoneware tiles. In the vehicle hall, subsequent waterproofing of the floor slab, including connections to walls, channels, pipe penetrations, and gate rails, is to be carried out over approximately 890 m². Subsequently, approximately 783 m² of heavy-duty porcelain stoneware tiles with slip resistance R12 are to be laid in an 80 to 160 mm thick mortar bed with a slope. Additionally, expansion joints, movement joint profiles, skirting tiles, marking strips for lanes, and connections to drainage channels and floor drains are to be installed. In the ancillary rooms, thermal insulation made of XPS insulation boards including separating layers will be installed over an area of approximately 153 m², and ceramic vibration tile coverings with associated skirting, expansion joints, and connection work will be produced. Finally, all surfaces are to be cleaned, cement film removed, and reserve tiles provided.
