Water Supply Renovation in Vuosaari, Helsinki

Water supply renovation in the Vuosaari district, Helsinki: Construction design and construction of water supply networks (total 18.8 km), divided into: 6.4 km of water pipes by long-lining, 2.7 km of water pipes by force-lining, 6.1 km of wastewater sewers by sock-lining, 1.7 km of stormwater sewers by sock-lining. Additionally, approx. 1.2 km of open trench construction, comprising 0.83 km of water pipes, 0.8 km of wastewater sewers, and 0.3 km of stormwater sewers. Also included are 330 property connection lines, 158 inspection manholes for wastewater sewers, and 55 inspection manholes for stormwater sewers. A new main water pipeline flow measurement station will be built, and the old one decommissioned. New fire water stations (PVA), above-ground fire hydrants (MPP), above-ground flushing hydrants (MHP), and underground flushing hydrants (HP) will be installed; existing underground fire hydrants will be decommissioned. Material procurement details are specified in contract program section 4.4. The plans are confidential and will be provided to selected candidates upon signing a non-disclosure agreement.
