Renovation of Bräuteich Pond in Chemnitz-Wittgensdorf

Hydraulic engineering works for the renovation of Bräuteich pond, excluding greening services for biodiversity: site setup, technical processing (evidence preservation, construction schedule, initial staking, photo documentation, as-built documents), traffic safety (traffic order, signage, barriers), preparatory works (clearing 150 m² of shrubs, felling 2 trees and clearing rootstocks, pruning 4 trees), disposal (3 units of declaration analysis, 490 t of soil material partly with Z2, 70 t of demolition material brick-concrete, 1,350 t of pond sediments, 11 t of asphalt demolition), dewatering (setting up 4 pump sumps, providing and operating 2 pumps of different capacities), demolition and securing works (demolishing 1 existing monk, demolishing 1 staircase, demolishing 20 m³ of obstacles in the ground), earthworks and hydraulic engineering (supplying and removing 2,415 m³ of stone fill for construction road, supplying and installing 970 t of stone fill for dam terracing with 380 m³ of soil mixture cover, excavating 1,250 m³ of pond sediments), special civil engineering works (sheet piling box for outlet structure approx. 4.6 x 3.1 m, plank length 4m, supply, workshop planning, statics, and removal), road, path, and square works (removing and restoring 18 m² of asphalt paving), concrete/reinforced concrete works (supplying and installing 1 combined relief structure including workshop planning and statics, supplying and installing 1 outlet structure including workshop planning and statics, supplying and installing 3 shafts including workshop planning and statics, constructing 1 staircase with 18 block steps, L=1.5 m, on a concrete foundation), piping works (50 m of DN 500 reinforced concrete pipe for outflow, 30 m of PE 100 pipe for inflow, supply and installation plus fittings and leak test), railings and fences (17 m of staircase railing and railing along Bräuteichweg including workshop planning), landscaping works (1,800 m² of grass seeding or wet seeding in the dam area). Execution begins on 28.09.2026 and ends on 30.06.2027. A security for contract fulfillment of 5% of the contract sum and a security for defect claims of 3% of the interim payments are required if the contract sum is at least 250,000 € excluding VAT.
