Renovation of Sanitary and Firefighting Technology for Campus Wuppertal

Renovation of sanitary facilities: comprehensive renewal without existing systems in the building distribution, preservation of the locations of the WC cores in the building center and the drinking water central room. Includes drinking water distribution, rainwater distribution from a collection cistern for WC and urinal systems, hot water distribution with circulation for sanitary areas on the ground floor and kitchen/canteen. Decentralized heating for further tapping points. Drinking water distribution from east to west via the ground floor to six main WC cores, supplied by Wuppertaler Stadtwerke. Rainwater distribution from cistern via a central unit in the sanitary technical area on the ground floor. Water distribution in WC cores across five floors via risers, including kitchenettes and cleaning rooms with slop sinks nearby. Hygienic flushing or continuous flow to the flushing point for tapping points, hot water supply via electric instantaneous water heaters. Six WCs for disabled facilities. Sanitary area with showers on the ground floor south, canteen and kitchen on the 1st floor with hot water supply via a central fresh water station. Drainage via a PP-MD pipe system with downpipes in the WC cores, including a grease separator in the waste room. Downpipes to be installed up to the prepared main drainage connection. Installation of plastic rainwater pipes indoors from the external transfer point, routing, and connection to main drainage. Insulation of all pipe systems according to GEG, consideration of fire protection measures and proper fastening technology. Firefighting measures: Installation of six dry risers across all floors in stairwells with external feed-in boxes and extraction boxes on the levels. Installation and preparation of a hydrant separation station in the sanitary technical area.
