Switchable Beam Dump

Delivery of a switchable beam dump: manufacturing review, fabrication, assembly, testing, and delivery as a build-to-print supply. The beam dump is a component for radiation and personnel protection, intended to safely absorb the particle beam. Approved manufacturing documentation will be provided and must be reviewed during the Manufacturing Design Review (MDR), with justified changes allowed for proposal. The scope includes mechanical and vacuum components, a drive system, sensors, controls, documentation, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), and Site Acceptance Test (SAT). An external frame for removing and reinstalling the chamber, and the installation of the chamber using the external frame at the final location, are to be offered as separate options.
