Foam extinguishing system for new building German Heart Centre Charité

Foam extinguishing system for the helicopter landing pad on the 17th floor of the new building German Heart Centre Charité (DHZC) at Campus Virchow-Klinikum (CVK): The system is to be installed according to VdS-2108 guidelines for a landing area of approximately 893 m². The technical center for the foam extinguishing system is located on the 16th floor and houses fire water and foam concentrate tanks. The technical center must be integrated into the sprinkler protection, e.g., the planned HDWN system. Firefighting is carried out via remote-controlled monitors with manual activation and alarm via the fire alarm control panel (BMZ). The new building comprises approximately 29,800 m² usable area, approximately 75,600 m² gross floor area, and approximately 355,000 m³ gross volume, distributed over 16 upper floors and 2 lower floors. A DGNB "Gold" sustainability certification is aimed for. Specific requirements according to the Berlin Public Procurement Act (BerlAVG) apply.
