Student transportation for schools 2026-2027

Student transportation: Transport of students to schools and back home after school, including care during transport. This also covers the transportation of students with disabilities to educational institutions and their return home, also with care. Vehicles must have valid technical inspections and seat belts. Routes can be modified as needed. Transportation does not take place during holidays, public holidays, or other non-school days. In case of vehicle breakdown or absence of a driver/guardian, a replacement must be provided within 60 minutes. Each vehicle must have one guardian supervising the children during the journey and when boarding and alighting. Guardians are employed by the contractor at their own expense, must have a seat near the children they are supervising, and must be trained in pre-medical aid. The contractor must ensure constant telephone contact between the guardian in the vehicle and the contracting authority. Drivers and guardians must be equipped with identification badges (name, surname, position); changes in personnel must be communicated in writing, with new personnel possessing at least the qualifications of the replaced personnel. A strict smoking ban applies to drivers and guardians during transport and near schools. The contracting authority reserves the right to reduce the maximum scope of services based on the actual number of transported students, without any compensation claims for the contractor. The employment of drivers and guardians must be based on an employment contract in accordance with Art. 22 § 1 of the Polish Labor Code; further items as per the tender documents.
