Protection of Stained Glass Windows for Renovation and Restoration St. Nicholas Cathedral Stendal
Protection measures for stained glass windows in the nave and south transept of the listed St. Nicholas Cathedral in Stendal: approx. 200 m² chipboard protection for Gothic stained glass, approx. 295 m² chipboard protection for rectangular stained glass (post-WWII), and approx. 200 m² foil protection. The measures are for protection against dirt and mechanical damage during construction work, requiring temporary ventilation at the top and bottom of the windows. The protection measures are to be coordinated with scaffolding work in 3 sections and maintained for the entire construction period of approx. 5-6 months per section. Restoration work on the stained glass windows is not included. Proven professional qualification and experience of the executing company are required.
