Software and Hardware Upgrade for Philips Achieva 1.5 T MRI Device
Software and hardware upgrade for an existing Philips Achieva dStream 1.5 T magnetic resonance imaging device: Implementation of modern reconstruction technologies with accelerated imaging and AI-supported reconstruction algorithms (Compressed SENSE, AI-based reconstruction) in the latest version. This includes reconstruction methods for noise and artifact reduction and for increasing spatial resolution using AI (e.g., SmartSpeed + Super Resolution) for all body areas, across the full manufacturer's range in 2D and 3D, with real-time reconstruction (reconstruction time < data acquisition time). The option to select AI image influence levels is provided. Compressed sensing methods will be extended for all compatible sequences offered by the manufacturer (including MRA, 3D, DCE, sequences with radial data acquisition trajectory, DWI), as well as advanced acceleration techniques with uniform spatial sampling technology, including relevant reconstruction algorithms. The supplier must offer the latest manufacturer-offered technology for this device at the time of bid submission. The upgrade requires hardware replacement but no construction modifications. An upgrade of existing examination protocols will be performed with the delivery. Furthermore, the installation and commissioning of the upgrade, including functional verification and all prescribed tests, are included, along with instruction/training of medical personnel by a person authorized according to § 41 of Act No. 375/2022 Coll., and warranty service for the upgrade by a person authorized according to §§ 44–46 of Act No. 375/2022 Coll. based on a manufacturer's certificate for trained service personnel.
