Design and build services for National Road 9 Tampere-Orivesi, 1st Phase: The contract includes a Design and Build (STk) agreement with an initial development phase of approximately three to four months. During this phase, implementation solutions are developed, technical and economic improvements to road plan solutions are made, product requirements are optimized, implementation methods and cooperation procedures are developed, and construction works and related documents are prepared. The development phase is compensated based on unit prices for actual working hours and costs. Following the completion of the development phase and approval of an optimized preliminary construction plan by the client, a decision on the implementation phase will be made, with the contract price adjusted accordingly. The construction works encompass all road arrangements, equipment, and facilities as defined in the planning documents, including information and reporting obligations, maintenance and reporting tasks during the warranty period, and coordination duties as the main contractor. All works and procurements necessary for completion must be performed by the contractor, unless explicitly excluded. Further details are available in the tender documents.
