Road maintenance for the Targówek Municipality: Winter cleaning of streets, sidewalks, and parking bays includes preventing and eliminating slipperiness on streets by plowing and spreading approved chemicals and sand mixtures, preventing and eliminating slipperiness on sidewalks and pedestrian crossings by snow removal (manual or mechanical with light equipment) and spreading sand-salt mixture, manual removal of icy snow from sidewalks and drain inlets, and mechanical and manual sweeping of roadways, sidewalks, pedestrian crossings, and parking bays after the winter season. Summer cleaning involves mechanical sweeping and washing (with water) of the entire roadway width including the shoulder, manual sweeping and cleaning of sidewalks and pedestrian crossings from overgrowth (grass, weeds), soil, sand, and other debris, mechanical or manual cleaning of parking bays from grass, weeds, soil, sand, and other debris, and loading and removal of collected debris. Pumping of rainwater from streets without storm drainage and from absorption well systems into tank trucks, including transport to disposal sites.
