Delivery and application of road markings in West Flanders

Road marking works: Removal of existing markings (continuous and non-continuous longitudinal markings, arrows, hatchings, STOP, bus stops, transverse and pedestrian crossings), cleaning of surfaces, removal of loose thermoplastic parts, drying and sweeping. Tracing of new markings, optional application of an adhesive layer on concrete and bituminous pavements, and primer on old markings. Application of durable road markings, including longitudinal markings of various widths on concrete and bituminous pavements (axis and edge markings in white), cycle path coatings at intersections and roundabouts, and cycle suggestion strips. All markings must comply with the General Circular on Road Signage and use products from a certified marking system (ATG usability certificate according to PTVs). This includes road paint, thermoplastic or cold plastic markings, also with improved retroreflection at night and in wet conditions, and preformed markings. Unforeseen works, night or weekend work are possible. Site safety equipment of category 6 is the contractor's responsibility, as is the removal and reinstallation of existing signage. Additional signage with crash attenuators for roads over 90 km/h will be separately compensated for unforeseen works. Provision of personnel, hand tools, and equipment for smaller and unforeseen works. Works outside regular working hours will be compensated at a flat rate. Maintenance of the works during the warranty period. Measurement of day visibility (Qd) and night visibility (RL) by the contractor.
