Study on the interactions between EU climate action and defence policy: Analysis of synergies, trade-offs, and risks in the context of Russia’s aggression. The analysis includes the defence sector's contribution to EU climate goals (mitigation, resilience, nature restoration, dual-use clean technologies) and the impact of climate policies on defence capabilities and readiness, the defence industry, public resilience against hybrid threats, and budgetary priorities. The study aims to provide evidence for aligning rearmament and defence readiness with EU climate neutrality and resilience objectives, and for aligning climate policies with defence needs.
