Study on the near-natural management of Legnitzka and Braunsteichgraben: Derivation of cost-efficient measures to achieve good ecological and chemical status. Consideration of relevant stress factors such as point and diffuse sources, water abstraction, flow regulations, morphological changes, and anthropogenic impacts. Analysis of interactions between upstream and downstream surface water bodies (OWK) and groundwater bodies (GWK). Preparation of cost assumptions and prioritization of measures. Development of proposals for exceptions in cases of unattainable goals or disproportionate effort (extension of deadlines, less stringent management objectives according to § 30 WHG, or transparency approach).
