Revision of the Munich Lane Model

Revision of the Munich Lane Model: semantic lane model for all lanes within the city area of Munich (LHM). This includes identifying street sections and intersections requiring revision by comparing the existing model with the browser-based infra3D application (current street surveys) and GIS software (latest aerial photos, vector-based auxiliary datasets). The core task is updating the Lane Model in areas changed by construction or traffic regulations since the 2019 and 2021 aerial photos and 2019 and 2020 street surveys. Furthermore, data structure restructurings for simulation capability (topology, attribution for predefined traffic situations) and the improvement of faulty elements are required. Revisions are estimated to be necessary for approximately 20% of existing street sections or intersections, affecting about 3,000 intersections (out of 15,000) and about 550 km of street sections (out of 2,750 km). Processing is largely manual, supported by provided scripts, and requires continuous feedback exchange with the LHM.
