Upgrade of the existing pedestrian overpass at Werdohl traffic station: Ensuring traffic safety through the installation of a monitoring system for continuous structural condition monitoring and the construction of an additional support next to track 4 to guarantee load-bearing capacity and stability. The construction project is located at Werdohl station, line 2800 (Hagen Hbf – Haiger), railway-km 39.4+74.89. The pedestrian overpass spans tracks 1 to 7 and connects platforms as well as adjacent urban areas. Northern access is via a staircase to Steinwerthstraße, southern access points lead to Bahnhofstraße, the parking area, and the platforms. Rail and passenger traffic considerations are necessary during the works to ensure safe and reliable operation until a later renewal.
