Temporary accommodation and migration-specific social support for refugees: Services provided at two locations in Potsdam, which are organizationally combined into one facility. The state capital Potsdam provides the accommodations rent-free and free of ancillary, operating, and energy costs. The operator is responsible for procuring additional keys and maintaining additional fire protection equipment; the fire alarm system must be continuously monitored. Location 1 (Community Accommodation David-Gilly-Str. 5): 2-story former hospital container facility for up to 79 people, approx. 1,144 m² total usable area. Resident rooms for 2-4 people with private sanitary cells (toilet and shower), one communal kitchen and one common room per floor, office spaces, small storage room on the ground floor, 80-liter refrigerator without freezer compartment in each resident room. No elevator, upper floor accessed via staircase. Storage rooms on the ground floor and upper floor. 5 stroller boxes and bicycle parking spaces in the outdoor area. Two laundry rooms each with 2 washing machines and 2 electric dryers. Two kitchens each with 3 electric stoves and stainless steel work surfaces, all stoves equipped with automatic shut-off devices. Fire alarm system without connection to the fire department. Location 2 (Housing Association Peter-Huchel-Str. 4): 4-story multi-family residential building for up to 69 people in 17 individual apartments, one additional 2-room apartment on the ground floor for the operator. Approx. 904 m² total usable area, distributed among 1.5-, 2- and one 4-room apartment. Apartments with private kitchens and one washing machine each, barrier-free, 3 apartments wheelchair-accessible. Fully basemented with elevator. Basement rooms usable as storage or for residents.
