Study to support the informal Expert Group on Submarine Cable Infrastructures during 2026/2027: regular assessment and recommendations for improving the security and resilience of existing and new submarine cable infrastructures, and support for the deployment or significant upgrade of submarine cable infrastructures via Cable Projects of European Interest (CPEIs). This directly follows Commission Recommendation (EU) 2024/779 and the implementation of the 2025 EU Action Plan on Cable Security.
