Study of EMF Risk Perception in the Context of Ultranet Commissioning

Research project on the temporal dynamics of electromagnetic field (EMF) risk perception in the context of the commissioning of the 'Ultranet' hybrid high-voltage power line in Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Hesse, and North Rhine-Westphalia: Answering research questions on changes in EMF risk perception, conditions of 'switching' processes, and influencing factors through quantitative surveys at four different times (presumably Q4 2026 before commissioning, Q2 2027 immediately after commissioning, Q4 2027 in the first year after commissioning, Q4 2028 one year later); timings may partially change if commissioning is delayed.

Measurement of Magnetic Field and EM Exposure on Reference Routes

Development, description and execution of a scientific procedure for recording exposure to static and low-frequency magnetic fields as well as high-frequency electromagnetic fields using personal exposimeters on reference routes and in public transport. The service includes an evaluative literature study (WP 1), the development of an on-premise data management system based on PostgreSQL/PostGIS and a Python script for statistical evaluation and visualization (WP 2), and the execution and evaluation of exposure measurements (WP 3). The maximum service period is 24 months from the award of the contract. Alternative bids are not permitted.
