Improvement of Water Supply for Noordervaart and Zuid-Willemsvaart

Hydraulic engineering measures for the improvement of water supply for the Noordervaart and Zuid-Willemsvaart: Establishment of a robust and future-proof water management system around Lock 15. The services include the replacement of outdated and worn structures, the increase of discharge capacity under free flow, and the implementation of measures for additional water supply. For the Noordervaart, adjustments and major maintenance for drought control in the Peel region are planned. For the Zuid-Willemsvaart, the project involves the construction of a bypass along Lock 15 with a control system for water level management. The execution will be in two phases: a construction team phase for the joint development of design and preparation of execution (Phase 1), followed by a realization phase (Phase 2).
