Contract amendment for school transport in Rautalampi municipality: Provision of a wheelchair-accessible vehicle for route KOHDE 4: Saikari. The need arose unexpectedly after the original procurement decision on 12.5.2026 and contract signing, due to a preschool-aged student using a wheelchair requiring this route. The current contractor, Sisä-Savon Tilataksi Oy, has a wheelchair-accessible vehicle with EURO-5 emission class, although the minimum requirement for passenger cars is EURO-6. The contract amendment allows for the temporary use of this EURO-5 vehicle. The amendment covers the period from 1.10.2026 to 28.5.2027 (until the end of the 2026–2027 school year). The original contract runs from 9.8.2026 to 31.7.2029, with extension options from 1.8.2029 to 31.7.2030 and from 1.8.2030 to 31.7.2031. The value of the amendment does not exceed 50% of the original contract value and does not affect the compensation paid for the transport services.
