Disposal of tar-containing roofing felt

Disposal of tar-containing roofing felt (coal tar and tar-containing products) from private households in the state capital Magdeburg: The collected waste may be contaminated with carcinogenic fibers (asbestos/mineral wool); the client performs an analytical proof according to VDI Guideline 3866 Sheet 5 Appendix B before disposal. The contracted company takes over the collected and proven non-contaminated waste for further disposal. The annual quantity is approximately 150 Mg. The products are taken over in roll-off containers provided by the contractor at the recycling center of the Hängelsberge landfill (Königstraße 96 in 39116 Magdeburg). The removal of loaded containers in exchange for empty containers must occur within 48 hours after notification by the client. If required, additional containers for collection must be provided within 24 hours upon client request.
