Preparation of Construction Logistics for Hollerich Barrage

Construction-preparatory traffic development measures for site supply and later facility operation at Hollerich Barrage: conceptual and innovative optimization of existing plans; road construction on Weg Salscheid and Lahnradweg, including approximately 5 km upgrading of an existing farm track for two-way heavy construction traffic with passing places, waiting areas, and site setup areas; fundamental upgrade of a section to 3.50 meters width with 40 centimeters subgrade exchange, curve widening, and slope stabilization for deep cut embankments; asphalting and widening of an approximately 240-meter section of the Lahn long-distance cycle path to 3.50 meters; construction of a lock bridge including design and execution planning, new construction of the bridge for traffic access to the central island over the lock canal with ramps, embankments, slope stabilization, connection to the road network, structural joints, bearings, sleeper slabs, waterproofing, and technical equipment with cable ducts, empty conduits, railings, and lighting; creation of two new mobile crane parking areas for vehicles up to five axles at the upper and lower head of the lock with access roads and connection to the Lahnradweg; geotechnical improvement measures for securing the lock canal bank at the upstream crane parking area; exploration of unknown utility lines via search trenches, their relocation and securing.
