Maintenance and Repair of Geothermal Systems for Heat and Cold Storage

Maintenance, inspection, repair, and troubleshooting of above-ground geothermal systems for heat and cold storage (excluding EMSR components): covers hydraulic components and facilities of the German Bundestag's geothermal storage systems, comprising groundwater wells, well chambers, buried pipelines, and technical house connection and distribution rooms. Pipelines are made of stainless steel, polyethylene, and glass-fiber reinforced plastic (GRP). The service boundary is the secondary-side flanges of the plate heat exchangers (PWT). Includes recurring mine surveying activities, reconditioning of the PWT plate pack once during the contract term, leakage testing of the system separation by PWT, and a one-time review and update of crack documentation (Risswerk) for heat storage wells. Media include groundwater for cold and groundwater with approx. 30 g/l NaCl equivalent for heat; 10 m³ of NaCl brine with approx. 314 g/l NaCl equivalent are available as emergency stock.
