Winter road maintenance in the city and municipality of Pszczyna for the 2026/2027 season: snow removal and de-icing on roads (carriageways, sidewalks, bike paths, pedestrian-bike paths, bus and parking bays), parking lots, as well as snow removal (transport) from designated areas, and street sweeping after the winter season. Services for the city of Pszczyna will be provided using plow carriers. Installation of tracking devices in plow carriers and gritter vehicles operating in Pszczyna is required, transmitting current and historical position data for the last 60 days, with GSM buffering in case of connection loss. The contractor must provide access data for the tracking system before service commencement and offer training if necessary. Sufficient equipment and personnel for snow removal and de-icing must be provided. A base within the Pszczyna Municipality is required, equipped with a hardened, fenced storage area for abrasive and chemical materials, protected from moisture and environmental degradation, located near the roads to be maintained, with roofing. The readiness of the equipment and material storage facility must be reported 7 days before contract signing. A 24/7 dispatch center with access to vehicle positions and direct communication with plow/gritter operators and the contracting authority must be established. The base must be organized by November 20, 2025, at the latest. The contractor is responsible for purchasing and storing sufficient quantities of chemical and abrasive materials for de-icing to ensure continuity of winter road maintenance. The contractor assumes full liability for third-party claims and damages arising during service provision. Funding is from the Pszczyna Municipality budget.
