Scientific Equipment for the Laboratory of Transportation Engineering
Delivery, installation, and operation of at least 50 high-tech smart cameras for 18 selected intersections in the Thessaloniki road network. The camera system features Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques, is fully compatible with national GDPR protocols, and continuously monitors road traffic (vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists) in real-time, providing information and analysis. Additionally, specific traffic event data will be observed using AI. The procurement also includes the transmission and storage of collected information on suitable servers for retrieval and visualization.
