Condition monitoring of railway steel bridges: Continuous and automated monitoring using Acoustic Emission Monitoring for early detection of fatigue damage and to provide a basis for a condition-oriented maintenance strategy. The system must be available as a market-ready, field-proven complete solution for continuous use under railway operating conditions. Measurement units can be purchased or rented as needed. Support and measurement evaluation are to be provided by the contractor. Services are to be rendered throughout the entire federal territory of Austria.
