Demolition works for Herttoniemi Church

Demolition works for Herttoniemi Church in Helsinki (Hiihtomäentie 23, 00800 Helsinki): complete demolition of the building constructed in 1958 as a church and community center, now used as an office building, with a total area of 2,320 m² (2 floors plus basement), including the reinforced concrete bell tower and surrounding structures. The east-west light traffic route and the parking area with lighting poles on the plot will be preserved. After demolition, the current excavation pit will be sloped. The scope also includes the intact removal and delivery of the bell tower's bells, the memorial site, the main entrance signs, and the stone slabs from the planting basin along Hiihtomäentie to locations specified by the client. The contractor is required to rent light traffic routes and redirect traffic during the works. A mandatory site visit on August 27, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, is a prerequisite for submitting a bid. The award criterion is the lowest price. The contract award is planned for September 2026, further items as per the tender documents.
