Construction Supervision for Kannelmäki Church Renovation and New Parish Center Construction

Construction supervision for the renovation of Kannelmäki Church and the construction of a new parish center: The scope includes construction supervision for structural works, encompassing coordination of safety, moisture management, and cleanliness management, as well as full building services supervision (HVAC, electricity, automation, water, sewage). An old concrete-framed parish building (total area 1,888 brm², volume 6,870 m³) will be demolished and replaced by a new concrete-framed parish center (total area 1,989 brm²). Additionally, a technical renovation of the church property (total area 804 brm²) will be carried out. Construction is scheduled to start in October-November 2026, with completion in spring 2028. The project duration for supervision is approximately 1.5 years. The church renovation focuses on steel-glass exterior walls and exterior concrete structures; building services will be renewed for electricity, ventilation, drainage, and sewers. The client requires a single company for all tasks. Award criterion is the lowest price. The contract decision is planned for September 2026.
