Demolition of Glass Roof for New City Hall Dresden

Demolition of a glass roof in an inner courtyard of the New City Hall Dresden: The glass roof is a sloped hip roof with a steel structure, wire glass covering, zinc sheet standing seam roofing in the edge area, a suspended ceiling, a polycarbonate plug-in panel light ceiling, and a surrounding suspended plaster frieze on a plaster base. The glass roof has a base area of approx. 670 m². Work will be performed from a working platform provided by the client on a modular and facade scaffolding. The construction site is located in the city center, surrounded by public traffic areas; the city hall will remain in use in its eastern part during construction, with administrative activities and visitor traffic. A detailed cost breakdown (Urkalkulation) according to form 223, including a breakdown of unit prices (wages, materials, equipment, other), must be submitted upon separate request. A completed disposal concept must be submitted no later than 14 days after contract award; further contract deadlines are specified in the tender documents.
