Railway Power Supply for ICE-Werk Dortmund-Hafen

Installation of on-board power supply systems (BSV) and an electrical train preheating system (EZVA) for the ICE-Werk Dortmund-Hafen: The BSV provides stationary supply of auxiliary systems for parked ICE vehicles on tracks 601 to 604 with galvanically isolated 670 V DC; includes installation of 2 dry transformers with 1,000 kVA power each (total 2,000 kVA), a low-voltage main distribution (400 V, 2,200 A, 65 kA short-circuit current), 8 autonomous rectifier units (250 kW output power / 263 kVA connection power each), 16 extraction points (1 control column, 1 filter box, 1 blanking plug, 1 connection cable 15-20 m each), 1 central control cabinet and 8 decentralized controls; including cable infrastructure (medium-voltage, 400-V, 670-V-DC power cables with 300 mm² conductor cross-section, control, signal, ÜLT, and emergency stop cables) and earthing/potential equalization system. The EZVA provides stationary supply of parked passenger trains with railway power (1000 V AC / 16.7 Hz) on tracks 601 to 604; includes installation of 1 medium-voltage switchgear, 2 railway power dry transformers with 800 kVA power each (total 1,600 kVA), a 1,000 V switchgear with 1 feeder panel, 2 heating output panels, 13 switchable heating outputs and 1 reserve output (max. operating power 1,200 kVA), and 13 extraction points (1 control column, 1 predetermined breaking point, 1 blanking plug, 1 heating cable with RIC plug each).
