Construction of new West Arch Bridge for Van Brienenoordbrug
Construction of the new West Arch Bridge (Contract 2): E&C contract, where Rijkswaterstaat (RWS) provides a DO+ (Definitive Design Plus) that the contractor must elaborate into a UO (Execution Design). A shipyard at the Duivelseiland location will be made available for assembly. The project has interfaces with other contracts for the Van Brienenoordbrug and with the contract for the realization of the Circular Yard Duivelseiland (CWD), with RWS acting as the integrator. The transport of the new arch to the Van Brienenoordbrug location is not part of this contract. This is a monodisciplinary contract with a limited risk profile, as the initial project was divided into four contracts.
