Procurement of satellite-based and optical SAR

System for strengthening situational comprehension in Norwegian sea areas: Use of image-forming sensors (optical and SAR – Synthetic Aperture Radar) for verification of AIS data, detection of "dark vessels" not sending AIS, and improved situation understanding and decision support in operative contexts. The system must be established and operative by the tender deadline. Required documentation includes a technical description (main functionality, data sources, analysis functions), screen images (visualization of satellite data, object detection, analysis), information on the production date, a description of operative use for at least one customer or end-user, and documentation of actual operative operations (e.g., customer confirmation, operational reports, uptime reports, user statistics). The contract has a duration of 1 year with an extension option. This competition replaces the previously announced competition 2026/2237, which was cancelled on 14.08.2026.
