Operation of a sleeper factory for Banedanmark: daily, ongoing operation of the sleeper factory at Vejlbyvej 1, 7000 Fredericia, for the production and delivery of concrete sleepers (track sleepers, switch sleepers, sleeper types for special track constructions such as rail pull-outs at bridges) in prestressed concrete, using the long line method. The contractor is responsible for rational and economic production, quality assurance according to DS/EN ISO 9001:2015 or an equivalent standard, procurement of necessary raw materials (unless client-supplied), provision of technical and administrative expertise, advice on production development and adaptation, assistance with factory changes and retooling of production equipment, and loading of sleepers for transport. The takeover of operations is expected on 1.1.2028, with an establishment period from 1.9.2027 to 31.1.2028. Daily management of the factory will be by a factory manager employed by the contractor; communication with Banedanmark must be in Danish. The Danish Act on the Legal Position of Employees in the Event of Transfer of Undertakings (Lovbekendtgørelse nr. 710 af 20.8.2002) applies. Prequalified applicants will have the opportunity to participate in two viewings of the factory.
