Operation of a passive fiber optic network (FTTB) in the municipal areas of Balgheim, Bärenthal, Fridingen an der Donau, Geisingen, Immendingen, Kolbingen, Königsheim, Neuhausen ob Eck, Renquishausen, and Spaichingen: Setup and operation of active technology, provision of internet and telecommunication services for private and business end-customers, granting of open network access (Open Access) with active and passive wholesale products, maintenance, repair, fault clearance, documentation, and service. Handover of operational subnetworks is planned from 2027, with project completion in 2028. The passive infrastructure is provided via lease. The framework agreement includes building connection points (GAP) with minimum quantities between 16 and 146 GAP and maximum quantities between 79 and 728 GAP. The project is funded according to the Gigabit Directive.
