Operation of Gigabit Networks in Alpirsbach and Loßburg

Leasing of a passive fiber optic network to a service provider: The service provider ensures network operation via a service concession and offers telecommunication services according to TKG § 3, Point 61, including bundled offers, to private and commercial end customers for a fee. This includes equipping the network with active technology, including customer ONTs if necessary, network operation in compliance with the SLA, ensuring the provision of telecommunication services to the public (Internet access services, interpersonal (voice) telecommunication services, services for signal transmission for machine-to-machine communication and broadcasting), supporting private and commercial end customers, providing active and passive wholesale products to demanders considering the 'Information on Wholesale Prices for Funded Broadband Networks of the Federal Government (as of 31.03.2026)', and maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the leased object within agreed service levels. Further tasks include documenting all extensions and changes to the leased object according to valid GIS supplementary provisions, ensuring mutual Open Access with any network operator potentially active in the municipality within the WFP, and providing route and line information to authorized demanders. The potential for Lot 1 includes a maximum of 1,298 address points, 1,497 residential units, 169 commercial units. The project is funded according to the Gigabit Directive of 27.12.2022 and the VwV Gigabit Co-financing of 10.09.2021; further items as per the tender documents.
