Operation of Public Bus Lines

Operation of public bus lines in South Buda – South Pest, within the area enclosed by the Budapest section of Road 7 and Üllői Road: Provision of scheduled public bus transport services with contractor-provided buses and personnel. The service includes for a base quantity of 20 vehicles 1,380,000 vehicle-kilometers (vkm) annually with a 20% option, and for an optional quantity of 6 vehicles 414,000 vkm annually with a 20% option. The client commits to calling off an average of 69,000 vkm/vehicle per year. In total, 1,794,000 vkm plus a 20% performance option can be called off annually, amounting to 2,152,800 vkm/year with the performance option. The commissioning of vehicles is planned for 5 vehicles by 01.08.2027 and for 15 vehicles by 31.08.2027. The call-off of the 20% vkm performance option and the 6 optional vehicles is at the client's discretion. Additional tasks include the sale of tickets and passes on board for commission, and travel entitlement control when using front-door technology. Vehicles must have a valid EU type certificate accepted in Hungary and comply with technical parameters. All new vehicles must be of the same type and drive. The service provider must ensure the necessary infrastructure for vehicle operation and energy supply. Full operation of scheduled bus services is to be carried out with contractor-provided buses and personnel. Maintenance and repair of buses must be performed at locations compliant with Regulation 1/1990. (IX. 29.) KHVM. If new vehicles are not available, the service must commence with temporary vehicles ("Előtét jármű") meeting technical requirements; up to 5 temporary vehicles from 01.08.2027 and up to an additional 15 (total maximum 20) from 31.08.2027, until new buses are commissioned, but no later than the first day of the 21st month after contract signing. Equivalent services are accepted.
