Operation of the Rheinfelden District Heating Network
Operation of the municipal district heating network for Stadtwerke Rheinfelden (Baden): The network currently includes twelve feeders with a total output of approximately 16 MW, a network length of currently 23 km (main line including house connection lines), and supplies approximately 270 customers with a subscribed capacity of 13,000 kW. After expansion, the network length is expected to be 35 km and reach up to 400 additional customers, with an additional possible subscribed capacity of up to 24 MW. The contract includes technical tasks for the safe, economical, efficient, and legally compliant operation of the network and associated heat generation plants, end-customer sales, and participation in commercial operations management, strategy development, and network expansion planning. The expansion plan for the next five years and the expansion potential are attached as Annex 2.4.
